Supporting Women Climbers

The 2023 Seneca Women's Climbing Summit will be held on August 11 - 13, 2023.

 The event is designed to provide a supportive and fun environment in which women who are strong trad leaders and followers can learn from each other, develop meaningful friendships and hopefully find new climbing partners.
   Participants are encouraged to share knowledge, experiences and skills with each other.  Workshops and clinics on techniques and skills may be offered but the emphasis is on "Climbing with a Local"- pairing up and climbing in a safe and supportive manner.
  The Seneca Women's Climbing Summit is volunteer run and we attempt to keep the cost low.  A group camp site, sponsored breakfasts and yoga each morning are included in the registration fee and the Saturday evening dinner is a pot luck.   We strongly encourage party pants at the pot luck!!

Small Group Size

Registration for this event will be limited to 20 climbers. To ensure a safe climbing environment, participants must be  experienced trad climbers.

Professional guiding and instruction are not provided as part of the Seneca Women's Climbing Summit. Participants are advised to have completed a formal, outdoor rock climbing instruction program before registering for this event.

Registrants will be responsible for their own safety and will not hold the organizers of or other participants in the Seneca Women's Climbing Summit liable for any and all injuries, losses, or disappointments.
